The News Status is for you to let your customers know about a known problem, upcoming event, or reminders etc..
Examples:
"We are currently experiencing problems with out mail server. The problems should be resolved in about 2 hours."
"Our credit card services are currently offline. Our staff is working on the problem and it should be resolved by this afternoon."
Your news status is displayed on the page before your customers log in, and the page directly after they log in. This will help to prevent customers from adding calls of a known issue.
To update your News Status, click on the News link, fill in the text box, click the "Update News Status" button. You may use html tags in here if you would like. However, do not include body or head tags.
The News Status must contain at least a space in order to save properly.
