There are many settings you can adjust in here. Starting with the outgoing email method to use. Sendmail can be used on Unix and Linux servers. Whereas SMTP is used for everything else. The Main email address is usually something like firstname.lastname@example.org. The Incoming Email Import Method allows you to define the standard email POP account settings for the Main email address. The WonderDesk can monitor this account and import emails automatically. The WonderDesk allows the customers or technicians to email email@example.com and the email will be imported. The WonderDesk will determine who is writing the email, and if the email is concerning a new call or updating an existing call. As you look further down the page, you'll see that you can control how much of the old email content is imported. You can even set up specific email addresses which will let the WonderDesk know which Category and subcategory the customer is referring to.
